MBA Students of UNC and Indiana University Visited to Our Center
" I am from Kentucky, but working in Virginia for USMC. I am happy to studying in UNC, and now glad to communicate with you, to touch dynamic China." said by Brandon Thomas, a major of USMC after the exchange activity held in September 3. Brandon Thomas is one of members of American delegation and has studied Logistics MBA Program cooperated by UNC and Indiana University for more than a year.
This time American delegation was formed by students and professors of logistics management MBA program cooperated by University of North Carolina and Indiana University. Most of them have ample work experiences. The team leader Professor Whybark has many achievements in fields of logistics management and operations management. Always with American style humors, professor Whybark’s lessons were full of laugh.
Also focus his study on logistics management and operation management, Professor Zuo Xiaode led his case creation team and some MBA students of our school to communicate with these American MBA students and professors in Classroom 220 of our school. Professor Zuo Xiaode shared his case of The Supply Chain OF Shanzhai Cellphone with the American students. Student Lei Hong further explained the case. Her excellent English speaking capability was well admitted by everyone. People cheered up by her great explanation of the word Shanzhai.
The American students were very active and positive; their leader Van Naoh took note of every detail and data seriously. Just at the beginning of the discussion, American student raise a question that is the existence of Shanzai good or bad which lead to an intensive discussion.
After the discussion, students exchange mementos. Professor Whybark and American students hope that communication activities like this time can go even further and deeper, and hope we can visit them in American.
